Join the 1,140+ institutions in 52 countries/regions that have earned AAALAC accreditation. To apply, download and thoroughly review the Instructions, complete an Application Form and a "Program Description." Be sure to review the Rules of Accreditation to make sure your institution is eligible for accreditation. New applicants must use the 2016/2023 (rev) Program Description.

DEADLINES FOR NEW APPLICATIONS:

AAALAC conducts its evaluations on a trimester schedule...

Winter trimester (January - March) — Program Descriptions due November 1 for new applications.
Council on Accreditation meets in May.
Summer trimester (May - July) — Program Descriptions due March 1 for new applications.
Council on Accreditation meets in September.
Fall trimester (September - November) — Program Descriptions due July 1 for new applications.
Council on Accreditation meets in January.

New applications undergo a pre-review process before being assigned a trimester. Please address questions to accredit@aaalac.org.
