Organizations applying for accreditation are required to submit a non-refundable application fee following application approval and before the on-site assessment. All organizations participating in the accreditation program pay an annual fee. Additional fees associated with select interim site visits conducted before the typical three-year interval may be borne by the institution. In general, these fees would be associated with Mandatory Revisits (as deemed required by Council).
AAALAC International determines the group classification during the review of the application. This classification based primarily on the size of the program, the time necessary to conduct a site visit and the provision of other services establishes a fair fee schedule. Accreditation may be revoked if an institution is in arrears for payment of fees.
